Relevant academic qualification – Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Criminology and Criminal Psychology from University of Portsmouth (dissertation exploring the police response to domestic abuse).

Relevant training – Domestic Abuse Matters ‘Train The Trainer’, Freedom Program for Professionals, DASH Masterclass, Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) training.                                               

Relevant experience – MARAC as Chair and police representative, Numerous Domestic Homicide Reviews, Serious Case Reviews and Serious Adult Reviews as police representative, Domestic Abuse Tactical Lead for Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police, Domestic Abuse Unit Supervisor.

What might you need, prior to carrying out any training or consultancy ?

In order to ensure any service provided meets the needs of a client, it may be necessary to conduct dip samples, carry out focus groups, review relevant policy and standard operating procedures etc.
